2014-2015 School Year
S.T.E.M. Presentation
Mike Groleau, RJG, INC., went into Shelagh Fehrenbach’s 5th grade Westwoods Elementary class on March 11, to talk about 3D printing, it’s uses, what the students have been designing, and promote S.T.E.M. education and the 3D Printing PLC project. When asked about their favorite part about 3D printing the students responded with:
“I love the annoying noise.”
“It’s fun but it’s hard.”
Student’s liked that, “If you make a mistake, you can try again.”
To print an object in this class, it must have a purpose. A mandate made by Ms. Fehrenbach and the students have come up with unique creative designs.
Mike Groleau showed off some designs of RJG, INC. and Manufacturing Technology Academy (MTA).
