Scientists at the Chicago Botanic Garden have designed and installed 3D printed flowers in northern Wisconsin to protect native thistles like Pitcher’s thistle. An invasive weevil, that was introduced to be a control for Canada thistle, is currently decimating native threatened species. The flower acts as a lures in and traps the weevil. Read more…
